A descriptive study on unreported branches of the Wa people

本研究的目的是揭示中国云南省孟连县未被报道的佤族分支的语言。我们对孟连县佤族（原籍）进行了实地调查。通过这些调查，我们收集了Vo和Luvia群体的原始语言数据和社会语言信息。在此基础上，我们在《缅甸研究》杂志上报道了Vo方言的语音系统和基本词汇。我们还向《北海道民族学学报》投稿了关于中国使用的佤族正字法的论文。

The aim of this study is to reveal languages of unreported branches of the Wa people in Menglian county of Yunnan province, China. We conducted some field surveys on the Wa people living in (or originated from) Menglian county. The result of these surveys, we collected primary linguistic data and socio-linguistic information about Vo and Luvia groups. Based on these data, we reported the phonological system of the Vo dialect with basic vocabularies on the Journal of Burma Studies. We also contributed the paper about the Wa orthography used in China to the Journal of Hokkaido Ethnological Society.
