Unthinking Environmental Ethics : A Philosophic-Anthropological Approach

我们的研究项目的目的是重新思考当代环境伦理学，并用20世纪30年代德国发起的哲学人类学的理论成果来面对其实践。为了实现这一目标，我们利用“财产”和“所有权”作为我们研究的关键概念。我们得出的初步结论是，我们应该审视现代私有财产观念的意义和特殊性。 在我们的项目期间，我们召开了两次密集的研讨会；首先是关于普遍适用的环境伦理学的可能性（1999年10月23日），其次是关于生命、环境和技术之间的相互关系（2001年10月20日）。

The aim of our research project is to reconsider the contemporary environmental ethics and to confront its practices with the theoretical results of the philosophical anthropology, which was initiated in 1930s' Germany.To attain this end, we exploit "property" and "ownership" as the key concepts of our research. We reached the tentative conclusion that we should examine the significance and peculiarity of modern idea of private property.During the term of our project, we held the intensive symposia twice; firstly on the possibility of universalizable environmental ethics (October 23, 1999) and secondly on the interrelationship among life, environment and technology(October 20, 2001).
