项目摘要

(1) For this study, we excaved one CHASHI site in Esashi town in Hokkido, and four sites : Kogaizawa-yama site, Kuretubo site, Kuretubo II site and Subatto site in Nishine Town-all in Iwate Prefecture.Kogaizawa-yama site, Kuretubo site, Kuretubo II site and Subatto site are all on the ridge of Highland about 300-500meters above sea level. At these sites, we excaved some pithouses, and we could see some Hajiki wares, a little Sueki wares, and several iron implements. In the result, I regard the age of this sites as the later 10th century from those Hajiki and Sueki wares. The important part of Kuretubo Site and Kogaizawa-yama Site are surrounded by moats and earthworks.(2) In the result of on-the-spot surveys, there were many dwelling clusters on highland in Heian period in northern area of Iwate, Akita and almost area of Aomori prefecture, unknown to the academic society.Those dwelling clusters are different from the general dwelling clusters on lowland without moats and earthworks. I consider they are very defensive dwelling clusters. To promote the study of dwelling clusters on highland in Heian period will make the connection of CHASHI-Ainu's fort-in Hokkaido and the background of ancient Emishi society that bred defensive dwelling clusters clear.

(1)本研究在岩手县北岐岛江藏町发掘了一处CHASHI遗址，在二善町发掘了四处遗址：小盖泽山遗址、吴都博遗址、吴都博II遗址和Subatto遗址，它们都位于海拔300- 500米的高地山脊上。在这些遗址，我们挖掘了一些木窖，我们可以看到一些Hajiki器皿，一点Sueki器皿和一些铁器。因此，我认为该遗址的年代是世纪后期，从Hajiki和Sueki器皿。吴都博遗址和小盖泽山遗址的重要部分被护城河和土方工程所包围。(2)根据实地考察的结果，在岩手县北方、秋田及青森县的大部分地区，平安时代的高地上存在着许多学术界所不知道的居住群，这些居住群与一般的没有护城河和土木工事的低地居住群不同。我认为它们是防御性很强的住宅群。推进平安时代高地聚落的研究，将有助于弄清北海道的茶石阿伊努要塞与孕育防御性聚落的古代石社会背景之间的联系。
