Comparative History of East Asian Literature

在基金资助下，我们举办了两次关于东亚文学的国际会议。首先，2000年11月11日，举办了题为“东亚文学散文传统― ―金素恩继承了什么”的国际研讨会。第二，2001年7月14日，与韩国外国语大学在驹场校区举办了题为“女性眼中的日本文化和韩国文化-语言和文学”的联合会议。此外，我们的研究人员还参加了国际比较文学协会（ICLA）、中国比较文学协会（CCLA）和韩国比较文学协会（KCLA）主办的几次国际会议，并从比较的角度撰写了关于东亚文学的研究论文。根据上述会议的讨论，我们的研究人员在会议录和杂志上发表了论文，比较文学研究（Hikaku Bungaku Kenkyu）在中韩日三国学者的共同努力下，《东亚文学比较史》三卷本的研究项目正式启动，并对内容和作者进行了详细的介绍。名古屋大学出版社提出了出版这套丛书的建议。在我们的研究过程中，我们认识到扩大视野，包括西方对东亚文学的影响和影响的重要性。

On the grant, we held two international conferences on the literatures in East Asia. First of all, on November 11, 2000, an international symposium entitled "The Tradition on Literary Essays in East Asia―What Kim So-Un inherited" was organized. Secondly, on July 14, 2001, a joint conference with Korea University of Foreign Languages entitled "Japanese Culture and Korean Culture in the Eyes of Women―Language and Literature" was hosted on Komaba campus. Besides, our investigators participated in several international conferences sponsored by International Comparative Literature Association (ICLA), Chinese Comparative Literature Association (CCLA), and Korean Comparative Literature Association (KCLA) and contributed research papers on East Asian Literature on the comparative perspectives.Based on the discussions in the above mentioned conferences, our investigators published papers in the proceedings and magazines, especially in Studies of Comparative Literature (Hikaku Bungaku Kenkyu). The Project of The Comparative History of East Asian Literature in three volumes was inaugurated, with the detailed descriptions of content and contributors, on the consensus of scholars from China, Korea, and Japan. Nagoya University Press has kindly proposed to publish the series.In the course of our research, the importance to broaden our perspectives and include the Western impacts and infuence on literatures of East Asia was recognized.
