项目摘要

①本研究の遂行に必要な文献や資料を収集するとともに、国内外の研究者との国際共同研究のネットワークづくりに取り組んだ。②2019年度に開催した国際会議の研究成果のひとつとして、James and John Stuart Mill’s Contributions to Economic Thought and Theory(仮題)を出版する準備をすすめ、2019年度末に執筆者による報告・討論を行う国際会議を開催する予定であったが、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大のため、その中止・延期を余儀なくされ、研究成果を英文論集にとりまとめる作業が遅延した。③ようやく2022年度末に、John Stuart Millを含む古典派経済学をめぐるInternational Workshopを東京で開催することができた。これにはイギリス・フランス・スペイン・インド・オーストラリアの海外研究協力者も参加し、今後の共同研究と研究成果の公表（出版）に向け、準備を急ぐことが確認された。④リカードウ生誕250年および没後200年にあたる2022年と2023年にかけてリカードウ研究の現状と展望を議論する数回にわたる研究会を東京で開催した。なかでもとくに、近年、通説の見直しがすすんでいるのが、リカードウの外国貿易論である。これまでの「比較優位の原理」の理解（標準的解釈）に根本的な転換をもたらす研究があいついでいる。今後さらにリカードウ外国貿易論の新たな全体像を明らかにすることが期待されている。⑤個別の研究成果の公表は、コロナ禍のなか、研究書の出版、学術論文および学会・研究会の発表などによってすすめられた。

The necessary literature and data for the study were collected, and the international joint research was conducted by domestic and foreign researchers. 2019 International Conference on Research Results, James and John Stuart Mill's Contributions to Economic Thought and Theory(Topic), Publication Preparation, 2019 End Author's Report, Discussion, International Conference on Research Results, New Type of Research Results, Suspension, Postponement The research results are collected in English and the work is delayed. 3. At the end of 2022, John Stuart Mill opened the International Workshop on Classical Economics in Tokyo. For future joint research and publication of research results, please prepare for the confirmation of overseas research collaborators. 4. The 250th anniversary of the founding of the University of Tokyo and the 200th anniversary of the founding of the University of Tokyo will be held in 2022 and 2023. In recent years, it has been said that foreign trade has been discussed. This is a fundamental study of the principle of comparative superiority (standard solution). In the future, China's foreign trade relations will be further enhanced.
