This research attempts to make a theoretically and practically economic study on energy conversion from the biomass as renewable resource through a comparative analysis among European countries. This conversion is done mainly at a generating station using arable crop, livestock, forestry, or municipal waste. We intend to analyze a legislative and administrative basis for making a market of the renewable energy in Europe. Finally we examine the socio-economic possibility of establishing the same renewable energy system basing upon the local community in Japan.

本研究试图通过对欧洲国家生物质能源转化的比较分析，从理论和实践上对生物质能源转化的经济性进行研究。这种转换主要是在发电站使用可耕地作物，牲畜，林业或城市废物。我们打算分析在欧洲建立可再生能源市场的立法和行政基础。最后，我们研究了在日本当地社区建立同样的可再生能源系统的社会经济可能性。
