项目摘要

In this research overall investigation of approximately 9600 graduates of Koosen, a technical high school / college in Japan, was organized and the results are in detail being analyzed. In particular there has been no investigation from the point of view of gender before. The results of the research provide invaluable and fundamental data for the improvement of the education at Koosen. The factors analyzed are as follows.1, The first employment. Based upon analysis axes as district, type of industry, size of workplace, employment continuation, reason for choosing job and so forth, the traits of the first workplace and employment gender differences are found.2, Employment continuation, change of job, job leaving. Out of the analysis of various investigated factors, it is revealed that gender is the most influential.3, Gender consciousness. The analyses of age, income, being employed or not, ways of looking at job, change of job, job leaving, child-care leave by men etc. are resulted to show gender characteristics and their co-relation with job career.4, Obtaining licenses. From the data of licenses the graduates obtained, some suggestions are provided for improving the education at Koosen.5, Collected free-answer questions. Diverse opinions of the Koosen-graduates, about school education, career choice, labor as a technician are shown. Gender traits are obvious there, especially on higher education after graduating Koosen.In March 2006 the research report was dispatched to all deans at Koosen. Some of them made a request to send additional copies of the report. It was also mentioned on an academic journal and expected to be utilized as an educational tool at Koosen. The results have been / will be made available through academic journals and conferences.
