Molecular epidemiological intervention study for life-related disease using behavior science and sib-pair analysis

To prevent the metabolic syndrome, 114 abdominal obesity subjects were screened from 315 subjects in health check up systems. After 3-month's lifestyle intervention based on the behavioral science in 20 abdominal obesity subjects, body weight and serum triglyceride levels were significantly decreased (-3.8kg and -24mg/dl, respectively).
