Research and Development of e-learning System by which Sight-or-Hearing-Handicapped persons can participate

研究了视障人士参与网络学习和远程学习的可能性，从人机界面、系统需求、教材内容等方面考察了视障人士参与远程学习的环境，明确了视障人士参与远程学习所需的失败补偿机制。而这次，我们主要针对不同情况下的视障人士进行案例研究。目前尚不可能为听障人士提供足够的研究环境，今后需要进行进一步的调查研究。具体而言，我们安装了一个电子学习系统，连接了各种视障人士的接口设备，安装了一些盲人软件，并进行了如下各种实验，以提取和评估现有电子学习系统的问题1。e-learning系统测试和运行服务器系统和网页的构建操作系统：RedHatLinux9， Web服务器：Apache2，语言：PHP，…更多数据库：MySQL， Blogsystem: Nucleus， Home page builder8 + e-learning教材编写扩展。e-learning系统的安装与建设我们采用了东京大学和NIME （media education development center）共同开发分发的exCampus系统作为实验系统。安装人机界面设备及软件，实验使用盲文打印机，针阵图形显示，盲文针显：BrailleMemoBM24，力反馈显示，屏幕阅读器（XP-Reader），主页阅读器：IBM HPR3.01。因此，澄清了以下事项。(1)视障用户信息补偿的可能性与问题(2)视障用户信息补偿新界面的调研/安装与系统开发(3)视障用户可使用的具体人机界面的研究需求，教材内容如何制作，创作工具如何使用等

We studied the possibility on e-learning and distance learning which the sight-or-hearing handicapped people could participate, and investigated the environment including human interfaces, system necessities, and teaching materials contents and to clarify failure compensation mechanism they need. However this time, we researched the cases mainly for the visually handicapped by various circumstances.
