英文摘要
The Universities of Applied Sciences (HAW) conduct applied research in addition to teaching and further education. Development and transfer result not only in concrete implementations of developed solutions, but also increasingly in publication-based publication of research results, ideally in Open Access. In its Open Access Policy of 2018, the Konstanz University of Applied Sciences is committed to promoting Open Access and supports the transformation to publication-financed publication of its scientific results in a variety of ways, including participation in transformation contracts and the provision of its own publication fund. The monitoring of HTWG's total publications as well as open access publications is already fundamentally guaranteed with the central and obligatory creation of the university bibliography via the university repository HTWG-OPUS. Funding via the DFG programme is intended to create a further financial incentive and support for university members and thus specifically an awareness of the personal funding responsibility of their scientific publications. The necessary structure for monitoring, centralised financial management and transparency through central controlling and reporting at the university library as the central office for Open Access at the HTWG, which is already emerging in basic outlines, will be constitutionally established for the first time through the application in coordination with the university management and the research department and will be continued in the long term. The associated consulting and services will be integrated into this structure for a high level of acceptance as an indispensable part of the library's service catalogue.
