项目摘要

最終年度の研究は、過去三年間の研究成果の総合的なまとめと、今後の研究課題の拡がりを展望した問題の整理を目的として行われた。計量分析アプローチとしては、1.石油および非石油一次産品の世界市場モデルのアップデートと石油価格の90年代予測が行われ、今後の課題として、このモデルを地球環境問題を扱いうるように拡張する試みが、二酸化炭素排出量に関して行われた。2.日米リンク・マクロモデルを完成させ、米国におけるエネルギー税導入のシミュレーション分析を行った。1ガロン25セントのガソリン税導入のもたらす不況効果がかなり強く、税収面での増収効果がかなり削減されることが判明した。3.神戸大学マクロ多部門モデルによる日・米・独の産業部門におけるエネルギー需要の価格弾性値の推定が完了し、製造業については、わが国ではほぼ0.4、米・独両国でも0.38〜0.45の範囲にあることが1980年代前半までのデータから確認された。4.慶応大学一般均衡モデルの日米両国への拡張結果から、両国の各産業部門の価格競争力の推定が、1970年と1980年の2時点に関して行われ、エネルギー価格の上昇と賃金の上昇とが、両国の相対価格体系に与えた影響が詳細に分析された。5.わが国の電力産業の産業組織論的研究を進め、これまでエネルギー政策の前提の一つとされてきた電力業における規模の経済性が失われてきたことを実証的に確認し、従来の規制政策の緩和を必要とすることを指摘した。
