项目摘要

本総括班は研究領域全般の進度調整、主要研究項目、計画研究間の調整その他運営上の判断を下し、研究の円滑化をはかることを目的としている。9計画研究をもって昨年度より研究を開始したこの重点領域研究は昨年3月の審査会において14の公募研究を採択した。公募研究の班別の内訳はA01:0件、A02:2件、A03:0件、B01:3件、B02:1件、C01:2件、C02:3件、D01:1件、D02:1件である。重点領域全体として総括班会議1回(6月27)、シンポジウム1回(11月25日)、全体会議2回(4月24日〜26日、1月27日〜29日)、研究代表者会議1回(2月15日)を開催したほか、班会議は研究会10回、合同研究会2回の計12回を開催し、各研究会の平均参加者数は11.5名であった。総括班会議では本研究領域の運営に関する一般的な議論のほか、秋に計画するシンポジウムと冬に開催する全体会議について相談し、細目をとりきめた。また研究代表者会議では本重点領域研究のまとめ方とその後の展開の可能性につき議論した。シンポジウムは昨年度につづき、本年もまた東京大学で開催することになった。米国スタンフォ-ド大学CSLIのエチェメンディ教授、京都大学数理解析研究所萩谷助教授の招待講演と、領域内の研究発表(溝口(D01)、川合(D01)、宮本(D02)、吉田(D02))を行った。シンポジウム参加者は約67名であった。最終年度のシンポジウムは地方で開催したいと考えている。領域内の研究者間で相互の研究内容を理解するために開催する全体会議は、4月に昨年度の分を行い、計画研究の代表者、分担者、公募研究の代表者に自分の研究の紹介をしてもらった。本年度は1月末に開催したが、全員が紹介すると長大な時間を必要とするので、今回はA、Bの班で担当した。来年度はC、D班の予定である。

About 67 participants attended. The final year of the year is the beginning of the year. The research contents of the researchers in the field should be understood and promoted. The plenary meeting should be held in April. The representatives of the planned research, the participants, and the representatives of the publicly funded research should introduce their own research. This year, we started to urge all staff to take part in the training and development of the team. We will take responsibility for the A and B teams this year. For the coming year, C and D classes are scheduled.
