项目摘要

1本研究の目的は、二人の話者の発話リズムがどのように相互に影響を及ぼしあうかを解明することである。発話リズムを最も直接的に反映する音声特徴として、発話速度、ポ-ズ長、音声の基本周波数と振幅の4つのパラメーターに着目し、これらが話者間の相互作用の結果どのように変化するかを明らかにすることを目的とする。本年度(平成6年度)は、研究実施計画に基づき,音声データの計測・解析を行った。前年度に行った予備的な解析の結果、(i)先行話者をひきついで発話した場合、どの話者も、文長やポ-ズ長が自分固有の値から逸脱すること、(ii)文長とポ-ズ長では先行話者の発話の影響の現れかたが異なること、など、いくつかの興味深い知見を得たので、今年度は、延長線上でさらに解析を進め、以下の結果を得た。3(1)話者間相互作用により文長・ポ-ズ長の再調節が行われる際に、′Approximation′(先行話者の固有長と被験者のひきつぎ後の長さの差で表す)と′Deviation′(被験者の固有長とひきつぎ後の長さの差で表す)という2つの要因が主な影響力をもつと仮定した場合、文長に関しては、′Approximation′と′Deviation′の両方が同程度に支配的であるが、ポ-ズ長に関しては、′Approximation′が′Deviation′に比べて支配的である。(2)このことは、ひきつぎ後に発話の再調節が行われる際に、文長に関しては′自分の基準′と′相手の基準′の両方が支配的であるのに対し、ポ-ズ長に関しては主に′相手の基準′が支配的で′自分の基準′はそれに比べると関与の程度が低いということを示唆するもの解釈出来る。4来年度は、文長やポ-ズ長に加えてさらに音声の基本周波数や振幅についても解析を行い、最終的には、これら4つの音響パラメーターに現れる相互作用の諸相を総合的に捉えた上で、話者間相互作用のメカニズムの定式化を試みたい。
