项目摘要

現在は仮想現実感(VR)システムを使うのに,CADで3Dデータを作成し,読み込んで利用している。その為,修正には2つのシステム間を行き来しなければならず能率が悪いので,VRシステムとデータベース(DB)システムを統合したシステムを提案した。VRシステムで扱う仮想オブジェクトデータをDBに貯えようとするとき,以下の様な問題が生じてくる。(1)静的な対象物だけでなく,可動部があり,自律的に動くものや,外界からの働きかけにより反応するものがある。このような動きが記述出来ない。(2)仮想物は,ある環境の下に置かれ,環境からの影響を受ける。この様な,環境,場の記述が出来ない。(3)DBシステムなら,検索結果は表の提示で良いが,VRシステムでは,CADデータの表では無意味である。そこでこれらに対して,要求分析,システム分析を行い,以下の機能を拡張したシステム設計を行った。(1)静的な構造情報に加うるに,動的な構造情報を記述できるように拡張する。動的な構造情報とは,回転部や往復運動を行う部分の動く範囲,動き方,エネルギーの伝達方法,自律的に動くものはアルゴリズム,反応をするものは、入力と反応の仕方等を記述できるようにする。(2)環境や場の記述を出来るように拡張する。場や環境が定義,DB化されると,後は指定するだけで,その環境が呼び出され使えるようになる。(3)検索結果の仮想現実感表示が出来るようにする。この機能が充実すると,必要な仮想オブジェクトを検索し,任意の位置に配置して表示する事が出来るようになり,VRシステムとDBシステムが一体化した事になる。このように拡張された概念スキーマ記述法をBNFで定義した。なおVRデータの記述法は,VRMLでも検討されており,SGIの計算機上で先進的に稼働しているので,関係マシンとソフトウェアを購入,それらを吟味しながら設計を行った。次年度は,この設計に基づき試作実験を行う予定である。
