项目摘要

平成15年度は、愛媛県内の北宇和郡三間町毛利家および上浮穴郡久万高原町(旧美川村)土居家の調査、県外では、富山県立図書館・滋賀県野洲郡野洲町大篠原小澤家・岡山大学図書館において、大学・中庸・論語・孟子集註・詩経、三体詩など角筆文献発掘調査を行った。富山県立図書館蔵の「孟子」(1757年刊)には角筆の書入れよりも墨筆や朱筆で方言形が多く見られ、今後、詳細な調査が必要である。国外では大英図書館において敦煌文献調査を行った。今回は、吉沢康和氏による調査で角筆文字があるとされた「金剛般若波羅蜜多経宣演」(S.4052)の追調査(2枚目〜14枚目)を行った。以前報告された角筆の漢字は、1箇所を除き、確認が困難であった。その原因は、今回は角筆スコープの使用が許可されなかったことによると思われる。しかしながら、誤写を訂正する場合に漢字の上に角筆で斜線が引かれたり、朱点の下に小さなくぼみの点が見られる例を確認した。今後、角筆スコープを利用した調査でさらに発見できる可能性がある。平成16年度は、第6回「書物・出版と社会変容」研究会において、古文書や古書籍に見られる文字について発表した。これまでの調査の成果をもとに、これまでの角筆文献研究の流れとこれからの古文書調査においても角筆文字が発見される可能性があることを述べた。また、C/D班共催研究会において、正岡子規文庫の角筆文献を中心に明治期の角筆文献についての検討を報告した。口頭発表・論文は以下の通りである。(1)第6回「出版・書物と社会変容」研究会 4月10日於一橋大学「古文書・古書籍に見られる角筆文字と角筆文献研究-忘れられた書記活動が遺したもの-」(2)第3回角筆文献研究会 9月17日於鳴門教育大学「正岡子規と角筆文献」(3)「読書行為の痕跡として見た角筆文献 -法政大学図書館蔵正岡子規文庫の角筆文献を中心に-(特定領域研究成果論文)
