项目摘要

During FY2016 I pursued my research in the field of everyday studies and the reception of Japanese arts and culture by French writers and film directors since 1945. I bought and consulted various primary and secondary sources (mainly books and DVDs) to write an article that will be published in Jan. 2017 in the US-based research journal "Contemporary French and Francophone Studies: SITES". The title of the article is: ‘Images du Japon dans la litterature et le cinema francais (1970-2015): un gout pour le quotidien’ (4,500 words). I also edited the proceedings of the international and interdisciplinary conference ‘Approaches to the Everyday in Japan and the West’ that I co-organised at Aoyama Gakuin University on 5-6 December 2015 (http://www.cl.aoyama.ac.jp/french/2015/conference/quot-programme-j.html). These proceedings will be published (in French) in 2017 as a special issue of the French research journal "Revue des Sciences Humaines". I have written the introduction of this special issue, and translated one of its articles (written by Prof. Ben Highmore) from English to French.
