项目摘要

本研究の目的は、幸福感に対する経済成長の影響をより正確に捉え、両者の対峙を克服し持続可能な暮らしぶりに向けた政策を提示することにある。幸福経済学によるこれまでの部分的な理解の下では、経済成長か幸福かという二者択一の議論に陥りがちであった。これを克服するためには、経済成長が影響を与える幸福感の背後にある動機の質を探り、持続的な幸福感に要する内面的動機を高めるような政策を構築する必要がある。そこで、心理学における自己決定理論を経済成長過渡期のBRICS諸国に適用し、経済成長と幸福感の関係を動機の質から解明し、両者が共存できる社会政策を提案する。この結果は、経済成長と幸福感の乖離に直面するあらゆる国にも有効な教訓を与える。本研究は3年間を通じて行うものとする。尚、研究協力者の都合及び当初の計画よりも研究が順調に進んでいたため、本年度後半は前倒し支払い請求を行った。変更点を含めた現段階における今後の研究の展開に関する計画は次のとおりである。１年目の研究進捗（調査票作成・対象地域選定・データ収集）を踏まえ、２年目はデータ収集を完了させ、その結果を分析し、学会発表すると共に論文執筆に取り掛かる。その際、参加予定の学会では関連分野の研究者と本研究について直接議論する機会を作ると共にジャーナル編集者に本研究を告知し投稿の指針を立てる。最終年度には、論文をジャーナルに投稿し、本研究期間満了時までに受理されるよう心掛ける。
