New method of analyzing and describing the history of Indian literature in layered multilingualism.

从古代到今天，印度的多语言使用不仅是区域性的，而且在一个社会中也是分层的。我们有三十多位学者，他们可以解剖每一种印度语言的文本，我们聚集在一起，研究各种各样的文字作品，这些作品被印度人从一种语言传播到另一种语言。因此，我们可以明确印度精神文化的一些历史路径。更准确地说，我们将印度的歌词和叙事追溯到不知名的普通人用方言口头创作的作品，将印度的史诗追溯到专业吟游诗人创作的作品。这些作品有时是由宫廷诗人用梵语创作的，即使是现在，梵语诗学理论也影响着今天印度电影的制作方式。

The multilingualism of India has been not only regional but also layered in even a society from ancient days to today. We, more than thirty scholars who can anatomize a text written in each of the Indian languages, gathered together and studied various kinds of literal works, which were enjoyed and transmitted by Indian people from one language to another. As a result, we could make some historical paths of Indian spiritual culture clear. To be more precise, we traced Indian lyrics and narratives to oral works in a vernacular language by unknown ordinary people and the Indian epics to works written by professional bards. Those works were sometimes cultivated in Sanskrit by court poets and even now the theory of Sanskrit poetics influences the way Indian movies are made today.
