最初に、申請時の海外共同研究者が国内の大学に実質的に異動したことに伴い、2023年1月より、海外共同研究者を国立陽明交通大学（台湾）の黄寬丞教授に変更した（所属研究機関を通じて、日本学術振興会には確認済）。2022年度（2年目）は、本国際共同研究課題の基礎研究と位置付けた上で、まず、都市の空間分布と高速鉄道との競合という2つの観点から、空港配置における順位・規模法則の検証、空港間構造分析、および空港間旅客流動分析の国際比較を行った。次に、2023年3月7日から10日まで、研究代表者と若手研究者が国立陽明交通大学に直接出向き、新たに海外共同研究者となった黄寬丞教授に対して、まず、本研究課題の趣旨や目的、内容について詳細な説明を行った。次に、「Matsumoto, H. and Domae, K. 2019. Connectivity Developments in Air Transport Networks at Primary Asian Airports. Journal of the Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies, 13, 2240-2259.」をベースに、研究を展開させる方策について議論した。そして、共著で執筆予定である論文「Developing an Air Connectivity Index Based on the Approach of Mathematical Programming」について、国際ジャーナル（Research in Transportation Business & Management）への投稿可能性を検討した。併せて、若手研究者の所属研究機関である関西外国語大学に、月に2回のペースで直接出向き、若手研究者の研究指導を行うと同時に、継続的に共同研究に取り組んだ。

Overseas co-investigator at the time of initial application: qualitative change in domestic universities; January 2023: change in overseas co-investigator: Professor Huang Kuan-cheng of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (Taiwan)(affiliated research organization: Japan Association for the Promotion of Science) In 2022, we will conduct basic research on this international joint research project, including location analysis, urban spatial distribution, high-speed railway cooperation, airport allocation, sequence analysis, scale law verification, airport structure analysis, and international comparison of passenger flow analysis between airports. Next, from March 7 to 10, 2023, research representatives and several researchers will report directly to Naitonal Yang-Ming Jiaotong University, and new overseas co-researcher Professor Huang Kuancheng will explain in detail the interesting purpose, purpose, and content of this research topic.
