A search for ultra high-energy gamma-ray emission from Supernova 1987A has been made from 13 October 1987 with the aid of the Monbusho International Scientific Research Program. Although we have not seen ultra high-energy gamma-rays from SN1987A (as of early 1990), the world's most stringent upper limits have been obtained in our experiment: Igamma<5.7X10^<-14>cm^2.s^<-1> for Egamma<greater than or equal>75 TeV. In January 1988, we observed very high-energy gamma-rays associated with the X-ray flare observed by the Ginga satellite. Since the recent optical curve of SN1987A indicates a pulsar component at L<less than or equal> 10^<38> erg.sec, it is important to continue this experiment to observe SN1987A.
