The WWU Münster currently has eight computing nodes which represent so-called shared memory processing (SMP) systems in which the CPUs are directly connected to a large, shared memory pool (1.5 or 3 TB). Due to the great demand for such systems, the use of the available resources is currently associated with a long waiting time for the researchers. In order to remedy this and create suitable capacities for future research projects, we would like to use this application to enable the procurement of a total of 48 computing nodes, each with 128 computing cores. The system RAM should be graded in 512 GB, 1 TB and 4 TB.
