当科で治療を行った原発性卵巣症例101例について、病理組織診のために作成されたパラフィン包埋ブロックを用い、Flow Cytometryにより、核DNA histogramを作成し、組織型、組織分化度、臨床進行期、予後、化学療法に対するresponseとploidyとの関連について検討を行った。その結果(1)組織型とPloidyとの関連についてみると、aneuploid症例の頻度はムチン性嚢胞腺癌(35%)、類内膜癌(43%)に比し、類中腎癌(67%)、漿液性嚢胞腺癌(65%)において高い傾向を示した。(2)漿液性嚢胞腺癌52例について組織分化度とPloidyとの関連についてみると、高分化型でのaneuploed症例の頻度は76%と高い傾向にあり、中等度分化型、低分化型ではいずれも58%であった。(3)漿液性嚢胞腺癌における臨床進行期とPloidyとの関連についてみると、aneuploid症例の頻度はI期89%、II期61%、III期61%IV期64%と一定の傾向は認められなかった。(4)症例数の最も多いIII期症例28例について、diploid症例(11例)とaneuploid症例(17例)をKaplan-Meier法により、生存率を比較すると、両群ともほぼ同様の傾向を示し、両群間の生存率には差は認められなかった。(5)漿液性嚢胞腺癌III、IV期症例においてCisplatinを中心とした化学療法を行った29症例について、化学療法に対するresponseとPloidyとの関連についてみると、aneuploid症例の頻度はCR症例(29%)、PR症例(50%)の奏効例では41%(7/17)であったのに対し、NC症例(83%)、PD症例(67%)の非奏効例においては75%(9/12)と高頻度にaneuploid症例が認められた。
