项目摘要

von Neumann部分環の包含関係を記述する定量的概念として、その部分環の上への条件付期待値に付随して定まる指数とエントロピ-がある。この両者と深く関連していると思われるある指標ー指数型微分(Indicial Derivative)と我々は呼んでいるがーについて詳細な検討を行った。その為の準備として、作用素値ウェイトに関するRadonーNikudym型定理を確立し、更に、作用素値ウェイト、ConnesのSpatial Derivative、ヒルベルト空間上のguardratic formの直積分分解の存在とその一意性が成立する事を確認した。以上の結果を用いて、指数型微分に関する還元論を完成させた。この事実は、Jonesー幸崎の指数に関する還元論と諸公式を直ちに与える事を意味すると同時に、既に我々が確立した所のPimsnerーPopaのエントロピ-に関する還元論と照合する事で、そのエントロピ-との関連性を明確にした。また、エントロピ-が最大となるケ-スや指数が最小となるケ-スは、指数型微分がスカラ-作用素となるケ-スとして把握されるので、このケ-スを、後者の観点に立って検討を加えた。更に、指数は無限となるが指数型微分は意味のある作用素となる因子環一部分因子環のモデルが存在する事も確認した。群作用に関しては、片山良一が竹崎正道との共同研究で、従順群のAFDー因子環への作用に関して漸近的に不動にする自己同型は、元の作用自身に限るという双対性を示した。また、神保敏弥は阪井章との共同研究で、DがC^nの強擬凸領域の場合、Dの境界のコンパクト集合がA(D)に対する峯集合ならば、峯補間集合になるという結果を、Dが実または複素pseudoーellipsoidsの場合にも成立することを示した。
