Japan-German Common Researches on Pharmaceutical Natural Product Chemistry

在九州大学与慕尼黑大学、汉诺威兽医大学和汉诺威大学缔结大学级合作协议的基础上，上述四所大学的化学家之间基于药物天然产物化学的科学交流在日本进行。来自德国的Gerhard Habermehl教授（汉诺威兽医大学）、Hildebert Wagner教授（慕尼黑大学）、Ekkhard Winterfeldt教授（汉诺威大学）、H.马丁河Hoffmann（汉诺威大学）和Hans Chr. Krebs博士（汉诺威兽医大学）应邀参加。Winterfeldt教授于1991年7月8日至12日（5天）在福冈停留，另有4人于7月8日至15日（8天）在福冈停留。在此期间，他们与九州大学的工作人员讨论了联合研究的问题。从日本挑选了15名化学家，主要来自九州大学，并与上述德国化学家一起举行了一次关于药物天然产物化学的联合研讨会，包括天然产物的分离、结构测定和合成。会议名称为“九州大学国际研讨会-日本-德国药物天然产物化学联合研讨会91-”，会议于1991年7月10日至11日（2天）在九州大学校友会馆举行。两国的与会者就天然产物的化学问题进行了热烈的讨论。在这一时期的日德共同研究过程中，两国的化学家参加了7月12日在九州大学举行的九州化学相关学会分会第28届联合大会。瓦格纳教授在会上作了题为"高等植物中新的有效平喘成分"的专题讲座。

On the basis of the conclusion of Corporation Agreements on University Level between Kyushu University and University of Munich, Veterinary University of Hannover and University of Hannover, a scientific exchange among the chemists of the above four universities based on the chemistry of pharmaceutical natural products has been conducted in Japan in this time.1. From German, Prof Gerhard Habermehl (Veterinary University of Hannover), Prof. Hildebert Wagner (University of Munich), Prof Ekkhard Winterfeldt (University of Hannover), Prof. H. Martin R. Hoffmann (University of Hannover) and Dr. Hans Chr. Krebs (Veterinary University of Hannover) were invited. Prof. Winterfeldt has stayed at Fukuoka during July 8-12 (5 days) and another four persons stayed during July 8-15 (8 days) in 1991. They had discussed with the staff of Kyushu University during the period about the joint research.2. From Japan, fifteen chemists have been selected mainly from Kyushu University, and a joint symposium on pharmaceutical natural product chemistry including isolation, structure determination and synthesis of natural products have been held together with the above mentioned German chemists. The name of the symposium was "International Symposium of Kyushu University-Japan-German Joint Symposium on Pharmaceutical Natural Product Chemistry 91-", and the symposium has been held during July 10- 11 (2 days) in 1991 at Alumni Hall of Kyushu University. The participants of both countries had an animated discussion on a matter of the chemistry of natural products.3. In the course of the Japan-German Common Researches in this time, the chemists of both countries participated in the 28th Joint Congress of the Chemically Related Society-Branch in Kyushu which was held at July 12th in Kyushu University. Prof. Wagner gave a special lecture entitled "New Potent Antiasthmatic Constituents from Higher Plants" in the meeting.
