项目摘要
Electromagnetic waves (EMWs) are high-frequency waves emitted by all electronic devices that comprise highly integrated circuits. These EMWs can interfere with the function of other nearby devices resulting in their malfunction. There is a growing demand for EMI shielding materials/coatings because of the complex electronics in modern defense equipment. The proposed project aims to develop a technology platform for synthesis of nanocomposite coating materials comprising polymer and various nanomaterials as fillers (additives). The project will lead to development of the next generation EMI shielding coatings for industrial and defense applications.
