本研究では.経時測定デ-タ解析の統計理論、とくに.1.経時測定デ-タモデルに関する推測理論.2.関連する数学理論、3.経時測定デ-タの解析,に関する研究を行った。1.に関する研究成果 経時測定デ-タに対する代表的モデルである成長曲線モデルに関して次の成果を得た。(1)共変量の最良選択問題に対して.情報基準量による選択法を提案しその性質を明らかにした。(2)ランダム効果共分散構造の妥当性を検証するための検定法を提案した。(3)平均パラメ-タの最尤推定量について.そのスチュ-デント化推定量の今布の漸近展開を導出した。また、その漸近展開近似の誤差評価式を与えた。(4)個体内計画行列が異なる場合のランダム係数成長曲線モデルに関して、新しい推定法を提案しその性質を調べた。また、検定法に関しても新しい結果を得ているが、これらは研究進行中のものである。なお、若干の成果は研究集会の報告集に掲載されている。2.に関する研究成果 (1)多変量単調回帰を計算するアルゴリズムを与え、その収束性を明らかにした。(2)主成分空間の回等性仮説の検定に対して、検定統計量を提案しその近似分布を与えた。(3)Langevin分布の平均方向パラメ-タの線形構造性検定に対して、2つの検定法を提案しそれらの漸近的パワ-比較を可能にした。(4)その他、非線形微分方程式の解の性質等について多くの結果を得ている。3.に関する研究成果 広崎・長崎胎内被爆者における身長の発育成長に関する縦断的研究として、成長曲線モデルを利用した解析を行った。この結果、これまでに指摘されていたいくつかの知見を縦断的研究法によって明らかにすることができた。この成果は放射線影響研究所のテクニカルレポ-トとして掲載される予定である。
