AIM OF THIS STUDY IS TO CLARIFY THE WAY TO CONSTRUCT LOW ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES TO MINIMIZE THE EMISSION OF POLLUTANTS TO THE WATER ENVIRONMENT.INDUSTRIES THAT WE PICKED UP WERE ; AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURING,DYEING INDUSTRY POWER GENERATION PLANTS,STEAL INDUSTRY,PETROLEUM REFINING,PETRO-CHEMICAL INDUSTRY,FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRY,AND PAPER-PULP INDUSTRY.WE INVESTIGATED THE AMOUNT OF WATER USE AND WASTE WATER,AMOUNT AND CONCENTRATION OF POLLUTANTS FROM THE PROCESSES,PERFORMANCE OF WASTE WATER TREATMENT,HOW MUCH CHEMICALS ARE USED IN WHICH UNIT,ETC.WE MADE A DATABASE BASED ON THE INVESTIGATION.AND THEN,WE TRIED TO CLARIFY THE WAY TO CONSTRUCT THE LOW EMISSION PROCESSES.WE SUMMARIZE THE TACTICS INTO FOLLOWING CATEGORIES,1)ELIMINATION OF POLLUTANTS EMISSION BY THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS,2)BY IMPROVEMENT OF WASTE WATER TREATMENT,3)CONSTRUCTION OF PROCESS BASED ON NEW CONCEPT(SUCH AS THE FULL USE OF THE MATERIAL INPUT,INTER INDUSTRIAL MATERIAL REUSE,ETC.).FOR THESE NINE INDUSTRIES,WE CLARIFIED THE WAY TO ELIMINATE THE POLLUTANTS EMISSION BASED ON THE TECHNOLOGY NOW AT HAND,AND THE RESEARCH NEEDS.
