現在20名の審判員からデータを収集し、12名分までの整理が終了した。いまのところのデータでは、採点を行なった36演技のうち、1組目と4組目に繰り返し採点されたふたつの演技については、いずれも時間経過にともなう演技の繰り返しを要因とする主効果(p<.05)がみられた。水準間の比較を行なった結果、いずれも1組目の採点は4組目と比較して有意に低い値(p<.05)を示していた。つぎに、各審判員に実施したEPPSの追従、自律、支配、達成、秩序とEFTを独立変数、1組目と4組目との採点の変動を従属変数とする重回帰分析を行なった結果、標準偏回帰係数の高い変数として、秩序と自律が採択された。このときの重相関係数はR=.626(p<.05)であった。そこで、これらふたつの性格特性についてそれぞれ上位、下位傾向を示す審判員群に分類を行ない、これらの性格特性を独立変数、採点の変動を従属変数とする分散分析を行なった結果、秩序について主効果(p<.05)がみられた。水準間の比較を行なった結果、これについて上位傾向を示す審判員群は、下位傾向を示す審判員群と比較して、採点の変動が有意に小さい値(p<.05)を示していた。EPPSの秩序の性格特性は、体操競技の採点場面においては、演技の理想像を理論的に設定し、一貫性のある採点基準をもちいて演技の採点を行なおうとする欲求をあらわすものと考えられる。このことから、審判員の採点の信頼性を向上させるためには、演技の理想像を理論的に設定し、一貫性のある採点基準をもちいて演技の採点を行なおうとすることを審判員が強く意識することが有効であるものと考えられた。いまのところ、データを収集した各審判員の採点規則に関する理解度については整理の途中であり、また、当初計画した審判員数のデータを収集しきれていない。これらについては、現在遂行中である。
