项目摘要

1.本研究は、現代日本社会における都市化の新たな展開の様相としての「郊外」とその成立・展開の過程である「郊外化」に注目し、現代日本における社会変容と文化変容の様態を明らかにすることを目的として、次の点について調査研究を行った。(1)郊外住宅地の現状を把握するための基本的なデータ・ベースとして『住宅情報』(株式会社リクルート発行)を半年分収集し、郊外住宅地の分布と地域特性、郊外住宅地をめぐる言説の構造の意味論的な分析を行う。(2)郊外住宅地の機能と構造を理解するためのデータとして、多摩ニュウ-タウン、東京都市圏、日本および海外の住宅計画にかかわるビテオを収集し、郊外化の現状と、それをめぐる主としてプランナー側の意識を分析。(3)多摩ニュータウン、港北ニュータウン、六甲アイランド、三田カルチャータウンなどの関東・近畿周辺のニュータウンを実際にフィールド調査。2.以上の調査研究から、次の諸点が明らかになった。(1)今日のニュータウンにおいては、住宅および住宅地域において様々なデザイン化の試みが見られるが、こうした試みは住宅を単に「機能」としてではなく消費社会における「商品」として提示し、消費社会のメカニズムのなかに組み込んでゆくという現代社会のシステムに対応している。(2)(1)のような展開は、主として東京・近畿圏に顕著に見いだされるが、このことは「郊外化」が「大都市化」と相関している現象であることを意味している。

The above-mentioned investigation and research have revealed the following points. (1) Today's のニュータウンにおいては, residential area において様々なデザイン化のtestみが见られるが、こうしたtestみは houseを単に「FUNCTIONAL」としてではなくConsumer Societyにおける「Product」としてTipsし、Consumer SocietyのメカニThe modern society of modern society. (2)(1)のような出は、主として Tokyo・kinki圏に顕与に见いだされるが、こ"Suburbanization" and "metropolitanization" are related to the phenomenon and meaning of "suburbanization".
