Hopf空間Xのloop空間Gは、「ホモトピー可換なHopf空間」の特別な一群をなしている。さらに、J.Lin,R.Kaneらによる「loop空間定理」によれば、Xが有限CW複体のとき、GのPontrjagin環は奇数次数の生成元を持たない。一方Gを有限CW複体である「ホモトピー可換なHopf空間」とすれば、J.Hubbuckの「Torus定理」によって、GのPontrjagin環は次数1以外の生成元を持たない。定理ホモトピー可換なHopf空間Gは、コホモロジーの原始元のなす加群PH(G;4/2)が有限次元(4/2-vector space)ならば、Gの整係数Pontrzagin環は2-torsionを持たず、その奇数次数の生成元は次数1にのみ存在する。さらに、「ホモトピー可換」性はWhitehead積の言葉で弱めることができる。又、S.Saitoとの共同研究により、Ganea予想に対する次の結果を、free ideal ringについての代数的な結果を用いて得ている。定理3次元以下の空間Yが(normalized)LS-category≦1であるならば、Yは、S^1のいくつかの一点和と単連結な空間との一点和とホモトピー同値この結果も、「co作用」の言葉を用いて、「LS-cat≦1」の部分を弱めることができる。これらの結果はいづれも現在投稿準備中である。
