当初の研究実施計画に沿って、本年度は2つの問題を中心に研究を行ってきた。そのひとつは、二値データにおける個体差の影響の程度の評価である。まず二値データにおける個体差を混合モデルを用いてモデル化し、その場合の各指標(平均度数や二標本問題での対数オッズ化など)における影響を理論的に評価することを試みた。この結果についてはCommunications in Statistics 誌に投稿し現在修正中である。もうひとつの問題は個体差の影響を除去するために用いられるひとつの方法であるデータの層別は行った場合の解析方法に関するものである。まず、オッズ化の均一性を仮定した場合の共通オッズ化の推定問題については、九州大学理学部柳川可尭教授との共同研究で、射影法を用いた基礎となる列に関して不変な推定量の構成法を開発した。この結果は、日本数学会1993年度秋期総合分科会で発表するとともに、現在Journal of the Amencan Statistical Association誌に投稿中である。また、これと平行して推定関数の考え方を利用した推定方法についても現在研究中で、その一部については日本数学会1993年度秋期総合分科会で発表し、現在継続して研究中である。さらに上の推定方法における前提であるオッズ比の均一性の検定問題に関しても推定関数を用いたアプローチについて研究し、その結果をBulletin of Informatics and Cybernetics誌に投稿中である。これらの研究を通して、個体差の影響を含むデータに対する分析方法を考察してきたけれども、尚、残された問題も多く、今後も継続して研究を続けていきたいと考えている。
