The aim of the research is a role of fishing family performing folk-culture with special consideration for women-wives. For carrying out the research, three deep sea fishing communities were selected as field surveys, Bonotsu (Kagoshima-ken), Tosashimizu (Kouchi-Ken) and Wadaura (Chiba-Ken). Basic data regarding fishing activities by men, comsumption and trading activities by women, social participation and life history have been collected and analized.Besides those data, ritual status of women have been taken into account. The biography regarding fisher-folk is published as the result of the research.

本研究的目的是发挥渔家在表演民俗文化中的作用，并特别考虑到女性妻子。为了进行研究，选择了三个深海渔业社区进行实地调查：Bonottsu（鹿儿岛县）、土佐清水（高内县）和和田浦（千叶县）。收集并分析了有关男性捕鱼活动、女性消费和贸易活动、社会参与和生活史的基本数据。除这些数据外，还考虑了女性的仪式地位。作为研究成果，出版了有关渔民的传记。
