A Folkloric Study of Fishing Communities around Bungo-suido(Bungo channel)

(1)本研究是在民俗学、历史学和语言学田野调查的基础上，对本戈海峡周边的传统渔业社区进行的区域研究。(2)从中世纪到近代，本戈海峡是北九州四国和塞托奈凯地区海上交通的中心。与九州其他地区相比，这一地区的历史背景、渔民和渔业社区的活力都很高。(3)我们选择了两个渔业社区，Yonozu-Mura Minamiamabe-un，Oita pref。和Uodomari，Uwagima-shi Ehime偏好。并对他们的社会结构、民间信仰、历史、渔猎活动和语言进行了分析。(4)综上所述，这两个地区存在着渔猎方式、消费品、婚姻、移民和语言等方面的文化交流。

(1) This research is an area study of traditional fishing communities around Bungo-Channel based on field research by Folkloric, Historical and Linguistic studies.(2) Bungo-Channel was center place of maritime transportation in Northen Kyushu involved Shikoku and Setonaikai zone from medieval age to Modern. And this historical back ground, Fisherfolk and fishing communities in this area were high energy compared with other areas of Kyushu.(3) We got to select two fishing communities, Yonozu-mura Minamiamabe-gun, Oita pref. and Uodomari, Uwagima-shi Ehime pref. and analyzed their social structure, folk-belief, history, fishing activities and linguistic.(4) In conclusion, there were some cultural exchanges i. e., fishing methodes, consumer goods, marriage, migrants and linguistic both in the areas.
