项目摘要

This research has two main objectives. First, making database of ccontract documents of tenancy widely collected in rural arears in Jiangnan. Second, analyzing the condition of tenancy in whole period of modern China using these database.The documents were also collected from several universities in Japan. In 1996 the author visited Suzhou university to discuss on the documents which were kept in the libraries and the archives in Suzhou and Wujiang city of Jiangsu Province. It is clear that a number of ducuments still remain unpublished in China. based on the matter, we will need to examines the ducument in China and U.S.A.and then those should be compared with held in Japan, which the author had already examined.On the basis of documents collected, the author made database table regarding contract of saling land and tenancy. This table is consisted of 41 items which include more than 800 data. Those data however are incomplete due to limited materials in Jiangnan. It is important to get further documents in order to make database much reliable.The author made statistical analysis on the amount of farm rent is Suzhou, Changshu, Wuxi, Wujin and Jiaxing using the table and books of bursary in those areas. there have three diferents articles done by the author. Those title are as follows : (1) "Xinhai Revolution and Rural Society in Suzhou" (2) "On the Condition of Farm Rent in Suzhou in the 1920's " (3)" "Twenty-five Reduction of Farm Rent" in Jiangnan".

这项研究有两个主要目的。首先，建立江南农村地区广泛收集的租赁合同文件数据库。其次，利用这些数据库对近代中国整个时期的租借状况进行了分析，并收集了日本几所大学的资料。1996年，笔者走访了苏州大学，对苏州、吴江两市图书馆和档案馆的馆藏文献进行了讨论。很明显，在《中国》一书中，仍有许多文献没有发表。在此基础上，我们需要对中国和美国的土地出让合同进行审核，并将其与日本的出让土地出让合同和租赁合同的出让情况进行比较。该表由41个项目组成，包含800多个数据。然而，由于江南地区资料有限，这些数据并不完整。对苏州、常熟、无锡、武进、嘉兴等地的地租金额进行了统计分析，并对这些地区的地租情况进行了统计分析。作者有三篇不同的文章。题目如下：(1)《辛亥革命与苏州乡村社会》(2)《S 1920年苏州地租状况》(3)《江南二十五次减地租》。
