本年度研究計画に従い標準曲面およびその2次包の研究を行なった。まず、2次包の次元の取りうる値の上限を考察し、2次式の数え上げ法と宮岡-Yauの不等式を用いて高々19であることを示した。幾何種数が十分大きければ,同じく高々9であることもわかった。同時に,2次包の観点から見て重要であると思われる直線をいくつか見出した。今後の調査が待たれる。一方、2次包の幾何学と標準曲面のそれが関連する例として三角的曲線束を持つ曲面の傾きを調べた。まさに2次包の影響によって超楕円曲線束の場合とは著しく異なる傾きの下限を発見できた事は本研究の特筆すべき成果である。但し、当初の目的だったエンリケス・ペトリ定理の高次元化が達成できなかったのは残念である。リ-ド予想と併せて今後の課題である。また,2次包を構成する際の障害となる不正則数に対しても考察し、曲面と3-foldの場合に一定の成果が得られた。いずれの場合も標準写像が著しく退化すると,不正則数は余り大きくなれない事がわかり、標準一次系の強さと他の不変量との関係が明らかになりつつある。以上の成果は順次論文としてまとめた上で発表する予定である。
