1993年末から始めた「半単純ホップ代数の分類」というプロジェクトを続行した.これは研究代表者自信によるホップ代数の商理論に基くものであったが,あらたにKac-Zhuに始まる指標環の考察により進展をみた.また,半単純ホップ代数がJones のindex理論に自然に現れることから,作用素環の人々の注目を集めているという.二度に渡る研究集会で彼らと交流がもて,良い刺激を受けた.具体的実績は次に挙げる3編の論文(うち1編は投稿中),2件の口頭発表である.論文:1.The p^n theorem for semisimple Hopf algebras(Proc.AMS,掲載予定).pを素数とするとき,p^n次元の半単純ホップ代数が必ず,中心に入る1と異なる群的元を持つことを示し,応用としてP^2次元の半単純ホップ代数を分類している.2.Semisimple Hopf algebras of dimension 2p(Comm.Algebra,掲載予定).2p次元(pは素数)の半単純ホップ代数を分類している.3.Some further classification results on semisimple Hopf algebras(J.Algebra,投稿中).ある種のホップ代数の拡大を決定し,それを応用して,18次元の半単純ホップ代数を分類している.口答発表:1.Semisimple Hopf algebras,ホップ代数ミニ・コンファレンス,1994年7月9日,島根大学.2.Classification of semisimple Hopf algebras of small dimension I,II,Hopf環とKac環,1994年12月12-15日,お茶の水女子大学.
