以下の3段階の研究過程により、課題の追求を試みた。1,予備調査小学校3年〜6年の4学年分の調査を実施した。説明的文章の読み以前にどのような認識を有しているか(事前調査)を調べた上で、説明的文章の読みにおいてどのような反応をするか(事中調査)を把握し、最後に事前調査との対比が可能な認識形成の調査(事後調査)を行って、読みによってどのように認識が変容したか、及びその変容は読みにおけるどのような反応によってもたらされているのかを追求した。この一連の調査(2月〜3月)の分析に取り組んでおり、説明的文章における認識形成・変革の過程モデルとその発達モデルという形で成果を集約しつつある。2,実験授業この研究課題においては、認識形成・変革の方法を追求しているが、従来型の要約・要旨把握の方法における限界及び問題点も十分に鮮明にしておかなければならない。つまり、要約・要旨把握の授業の特長と、認識形成・変革に関しては限界があることを実証しなければならない。本年度では、この点について、8時間分の授業記録を分析し、検討し、仮説通りの結果を得た。3,発達モデルの構築説明的文章の読みの過程モデルに関しては、表意と推意という認知構造に基づいてモデルを構築しつつある。発達モデルに関しては、過程モデルの変容の段階を小学校5年生段階と想定し、具体化の能力と一般化の能力との緊密な発動関係から説明を試みている。上記二点とも、成果の集約を急ぎ、近々まとめて発表する予定である。4,今後の課題読みの過程モデル及び発達モデルを小・中一貫でとらえ、実験授業による検証を積み重ね、精密な統合モデルを完成し、教育課程編成の科学的基礎として提供したい。
