Bukki-ryo(the Edict on Mourning) was one of the most important laws of Tokugawa shogunate. But there are not many studies about it. I aim to study on Bukki-ryo of Tokugawa shogunate synthetically.This study clears many matters about Bukki-ryo. for example, the feature of it in comparison to ancient china, ancient Japan and medieval japan, the contents and structure of it, the relationship which was reflected on it, the significance of it in shogunate and domain system, the relation between Bukki-ryo of shogunate and that of clans, the relation between the system of Kegare(pollution) of Emperor and that of shogunate, and so on.I was concerned in the study of Bukki-ryo for about thirty years. I could write the book "Kinsei Bukki-ryo no kenkyu" to complete my study, owing to Grant-in-Aid.

《敕令》是德川幕府最重要的法律之一。本文旨在通过对德川幕府时期的武器流的综合研究，澄清有关武器流的诸多问题。例如，它与古代中国、古代日本和中世纪日本的比较特征，它的内容和结构，它所反映的关系，它在幕府和藩制中的意义，幕府的武器律与氏族制度的关系，它与庆礼制度的关系等天皇的污染和幕府的污染等等。我关注北极光的研究大约有三十年。我可以写一本书“Kinsei Bukki-ryo no kenkyu”来完成我的学业，因为助学金。
