The basic research on obtaining the visual information of wheelchair users

1.本研究探讨轮椅使用者在斜坡与平地的注视倾向。轮椅使用者将眼睛摄像机安装在他们的头上，并移动以记录眼睛注视的点。结果如下。（1）在上坡处的注视时间比下坡处和平坦处的注视时间长。(2)It是他们主要看到的路面。（3）在斜坡处，他们所看到的距离路面为2 ~ 3 m，在平坦处为6 m。（2）考察了轮椅使用者和普通人在信号灯前停车和移动时的眼注视倾向。实验是在十字路口进行的。结果如下。（1）两种情况下的平均注视时间无显著差异，但在信号灯处停留的平均注视时间要比另一种情况下长。（2）轮椅使用者在运动时的注视对象与普通人不同。（3）普通人比轮椅使用者能获得更多的前向信息。（1）轮椅使用者主要仔细观察地面和手印，其他东西看得不多。（2）一般人看到的不仅仅是地面和手印，还有三、山、镇等风景。（3）轮椅使用者主要看前方，而一般人则看视野不受阻碍的方向。

1.We examined the tendency of the eye fixation of wheelchair users at a slope and a flat portion. Wheelchair users installed the eye camera on their heads and moved in order to record the point of the eye fixation. The results are as follows. (1)The time of the eye fixation at the up slope is longer than that of down slope and the flat portion. (2)It is the road surface that they see mainly. (3)The distance to the road surface they see is 2 or 3m at the slope, 6m at the flat portion.2.We examined the tendency of the eye fixation of wheelchair users and general people in stopping at the signal and moving. The experiment was performed at the intersection. The results are as follows. (1)The average time of the eye fixation is not different between in both situations.When they stop at the signal, however, it is longer than that of the other situation. (2)The object of the eye fixation is different between wheelchair users and general people when they are moving. (3)General people can get much preceding information than wheelchair users.3.We examined the tendency of the eye fixation of wheelchair users and general people at the mountain trails. (1)Wheelchair users mainly observe the ground and the hand print carefully, but they don't see other things so much. (2)General people see not only the ground and the hand print but also the scenery such as the threes, the mountains and the town. (3)Wheelchair users mainly see ahead, on the other hand, general people see the direction in which their field of vision are not obstructed.
