A Reseach on Philosopy of Life and Death in Japan

1998-1999年，我们从佛教、日本文学、日本艺术、隐世基督教等方面对日本生死哲学的特点和历史变迁进行了研究。研究方法如下：文学研究：（净土宗作品），天台宗禅正（天台宗作品）等进行实地考察：北海道、出和三山、佐渡、熊野、加塞（兵库县）、高知、长崎等。作为本研究的结果，研究者撰写了文章，这些文章发表在研究报告中。在研究结果中，我们发现了日本各个时期生死哲学思想的特点和历史变迁。然而，在有限的时间内，我们无法对这些特点和变化进行充分的比较研究。需要进一步研究。

In 1998-1999, We have researched on characteristics and historical changes concerning philosophy of life and death in Japan, from a point of view of Buddhism, Japanese literature, Japanese art, hidden Christian etc. The way of this research is as follows :research on literature : Jodo-shu Zensho (Works of Pure Land Buddhism), Tendai-shu Zensho (Works of Tendai Buddhism), and so on a field survey : Hokkaido, Dewa-sanzan, Sado, Kumano, Kasai (Hyogo prefecture), Kochi, Nagasaki, etc.As a result of this research, investigators have written articles, and these articles are published in a research report. As to the result, we have found out charactors and historical changes concerning philosophy of life and death in various period and thought in Japan. However, we could not do comparative study of these characteristics and changes sufficiently in a limited period. It needs further research.
