The Nationalization of Women Writers in Meiji Japan

这个项目是关于日本明治时期女作家的国家化。为了使问题更清楚，我们具体做了两个分析。首先，对日本现代文学中的女性形象进行了分析。通过这一分析，可以清楚地看到日本女性是如何被凝视的，以及她们是如何试图成为这种形象的代理的。其次，选择日本明治时期最著名的女作家通口一代作为议题。通过对一代日记的分析，揭示了女性气质与民族化的关系。

This project is about the Nationalization of Women Writers in Meiji Japan. To make the issue clear, two analisises were done concretely. First, the representation of women in modern Japanese literature were analized. Through this analisis, it was made clear how Japanese women were gazed and how they tried to be agency of the prestnation. Second, HIGUCHI Ichiyo, the most famous woman writer in Meiji Japan was chosen as an issue. With analisis of Ichiyo's diary, the relation between the femininity and the nationalization was foregrounded.
