[平成13年度](1)欧米および我が国の文献を手分けしてサーベイした後、英国を訪問し、英国において進展している質問票調査研究について説明を受け、研究デザインを具体的に描く。(2)それを踏まえ、我が国中小企業に対する質問票を作成し、パイロット調査による修正の後、協力が得られる中小企業を、共同研究者および大学院生(研究補助者)が訪問し、質問票についての正確な回答と関連する説明を得た。(3)調査した中小企業は38社、質問項目は総数で342項目にわたった。(4)これら多量のデータの予備的・総括的分析に着手し、我が国中小企業の財務管理実務についての基本的理解を得た。[平成14年度](1)平成13年度に引き続き、文献サーベイを行いつつ、質問票の回答の分析を進め、また英国を訪問して回答と分析結果を説明し、今後の研究の進め方について議論氏、合意した。英国における研究の進展についても説明を受けた。(2)これを受け、英国における分析と我が国における分析の比較に着手した。(3)英国における研究に対しては、研究代表者後藤實男が渡英の機会を利用して分析に参加し、ほぼ英国中小企業の実態を解明するに至り、2編の論文の完成を待って、米国の学術雑誌、Journal of Management Accounting researchとJournal of SMEに投稿した。共にレフェリーのコメントを得て目下改訂作業を終え、再投稿を行った。(4)我が国の研究は、英国における研究の進展を受け、並行して論文を完成させ、投稿の準備を終えつつある。この論文は、欧米の適切な学術雑誌に近い将来投稿する予定である。(5)2年の期間内には完成させることができなかったが、これら両国の分析結果を踏まえた本格的比較研究を発展させ、できるだけ速やかに論文として纏め上げ、欧米の学術雑誌に投稿する予定である。

The progress of research in the United Kingdom has been explained. (2)The analysis of the United Kingdom and the United States began. (3)Research representative Minio Goto participated in the analysis of the UK SME situation and contributed to the Journal of Management Accounting research in the United States. The total number of entries was changed under the heading, and the re-entry was completed. (4)The progress of our research in China and Britain has been delayed, the papers have been completed, and the preparations for submissions have been completed. This paper is suitable for academic journals and future contributions. (5)2 During this period, the author will complete the comparative study of this field, develop the papers, and submit the academic journals of Europe and America.
