不妊治療後の多胎妊婦が、安心して妊娠・出産に臨める看護プログラムの開発を目指し、妊婦のニーズを把握するための調査を行った。前年度に作成したインタビューガイドとプレテストを基に、本調査では3名の対象者に面接を実施し、その内容を分析した。その結果、看護プログラム開発に際して重要な示唆となる妊婦のニーズについて下記の点が明らかになった。これらの点を十分に考慮して、今後、看護プログラムの開発につなげて行きたいと考えている。1.不妊治療後の妊娠ということでのリスクに関しては、ある程度の知識があったため、不安は無かった。一方、最も恐れていたのは多胎に特有の早産の可能性であり、それを予防するための具体的な活動可能範囲について、看護者からのアドバイス(場合によっては医師からの詳細な説明)が欲しかった。また、妊娠末期になると日常生活の上でもかなりの支障が生じてきたため、事前にその具体的な可能性や程度、対処方法についてのアドバイスが欲しかった。2.不妊治療後ということで、同じ経過を辿った妊婦だけと妊娠中もつきあいたいという思いは無い。むしろ治療のことも含め何でもオープンに話せる、妊婦同士が知り合える機会を看護者が提供してくれたことは良かった。一方、治療のことは隠したい人もいるだろうから、その人たちに配慮したクラスの持ち方があってもよいと思う。3.管理入院を余儀なくされ、妊娠中に外出や母親学級に出る機会が制限されたことから、他の妊婦と知り合う機会がもっと欲しかった。入院中に他の妊婦や褥婦を紹介してもらえれば、友達になり産後も引き続き育児に関して相談に乗ってもらえるだろう。また、入院中に双子の姿を見たり、その母親と話す機会があればそれだけで入院中の励みになったと思う。
