项目摘要

今年度の研究実績は以下のとおり。(1)鎌倉期西国の武士団結合の展開の具体相とその歴史的性格について、御家人制・都鄙間交通のあり方と関連づけた研究についてはほぼ成稿しており、投稿する予定である。(2)鎌倉末・南北朝期の東国御家人の結合や一族運営の具体相を、地方都市や宗教との関わりで具体的に論じた。この研究については既に投稿しており、今年度中に発表できる見通しである。(3)御家人制の地域的展開の流れを検討するなかで、九州の御家人制についても惣地頭-小地頭制と関連づけて鎌倉期を通じた時系列的な変化を具体的に明らかにした。この点については、これまでに公にした成果を踏まえて発表する予定である。(4)鎌倉末期の東国における鎌倉幕府「特権的支配層」の所領増加のあり方とその契機・特徴を幕府が担う国家的機能との関連から検討し、ほぼ論文化した。(5)鎌倉期の御家人制・地頭制が地域社会において担った機能の具体相、また御家人集団・地頭の地域社会における機能が中世国家運営においてどのように吸い上げられていったか、という問題を明らかにするため、事例収集を行っている。またこの問題に取り組むため領主制の研究史を再検討し、在地領主研究の新たな方法を上記の課題に導入する試みを行っている。
