项目摘要

従来の心理学における性役割態度研究では、性別役割分業に対する肯定-否定という一次元的観点から男女平等観が捉えられてきた。しかし、本研究が行ってきた調査では、個人が男女平等な役割分担状況か否かを評価する際に用いる基準(男女平等の判断基準)は多様であることが示されている。今年度は、これまでの調査を踏まえて、以下に示す論文の執筆や調査・分析を行った。第一に、8種の男女平等の判断基準を抽出した調査に対するコメントを受けて、リプライ論文を発表した。第二に、男女平等の判断基準尺度を作成し、学会・紀要論文に発表した。第三に、男女平等の判断基準の視点から、フェミニズムにおいて主張される男女平等のあり方を整理し、学会で発表した。第四に、男女大学生を対象とした質問紙調査を行い、男女平等な役割分担状況か否かを判断する場面によって判断基準が使い分けられていることを確認した。第五に、前年度に行った成人男女を対象とした質問紙調査のデータを再解析した。その結果、成人は、結婚や子供を持つという家庭で生じる杜会的役割を経験するととにより、家庭における性別役割分業を否定的に捉えるような判断基準の考慮度を、部分的に低めることを明らかにした。第六に、県議会における男女共同参画条例制定をめぐる議論を整理した。その結果、男女平等をめぐる議論は、各派が主張する男女平等の判断基準のいずれが適切なのかに論点が焦点化されることが示された。以上より、第一に、個人は、ある社会的役割を経験すると、男女平等の判断基準を部分的に変化させ、その社会的役割に伴う性別役割分業状況を男女平等であると評価を変化させることが示された。第二に、より適切な男女平等を実現するためには、各自が主張する男女平等の判断基準以外の判断基準があることにも配慮し、当該の役割分担にいずれの判断基準を用いることが適切なのかを検討していくことが必要であると提言された。
