本研究では、沖縄のマルチメディア民族誌の構築・公開およびその民族誌論的意義についての検討を行なった。具体的には、(1)既存の、もしくは新規に収集することができた映像・音声資料、(2)既発表の論文、(3)文献資料データベース、(4)調査地の概況・統計資料などをインターネット上で公開した。さらに、電子掲示板を設置し、Eメールアドレスを公開することによって、読者との双方向的なコミュニケーション手段を確保した。読者からのフィードバックとしては、特に筆者が長らく調査を行なってきた沖縄県与那国町の関係者から好意的なコメントが届くとともに、与那国町役場のホームページのリンク集等で本研究の成果が紹介された。本研究の成果は、http://hara.pro.tok2.com/で公開している。本研究の成果の一部は「多重メディア環境と民族誌」研究会(国立民族学博物館)で発表した。ここでは、世界各地のマルチメディア民族誌の事例を紹介するとともに、「メディア人類学」と称される電子メディアに関する文化人類学的研究の系譜を(1)「電子メディアと社会の関係性」を問う研究と(2)「文化人類学と社会の関係性」を問う研究に整理し、さらにこれに(3)「電子メディアと文化人類学の関係性」を問う研究を加えた「総合メディア人類学」の構想を提示した。この総合メディア人類学においては、文化人類学の知識の伝達における電子メディアの利用も重要な主題として位置づけられるが、本研究の成果も、講義において学生への提示資料として有効に活用することができた。マルチメディア民族誌の重要な特性は、内容を不断に更新することができる点にあるため、今後もより一層の内容の充実を図りたいと考えている。

This paper discusses the significance of ethnography construction and open ethnography theory. Specific information: (1) Existing, non-existing, new collection, video and audio data;(2) Published papers;(3) Literature data;(4) Survey site profile and statistical data; and (5) Disclosure of information. The electronic display board is set up to ensure that the display board is open to the public and that the display board is open to the public. The results of this study are introduced in detail. The results of this study are available at http://hara.pro.tok2.com/. One part of the results of this research was presented to the "Multi-environment and Ethnography" Research Society (National Museum of Ethnology). The important characteristics of ethnography are constantly updated.
