项目摘要

本年度の研究計画として当初以下の三つの作業を掲げた。(1)前年度の研究を受けて残る半分の電算化テクストに対して略式原典批評(標準的な表記法の導入、明かな誤記の修正、不明な点に対する可能な解答併記等)を済ませること、(2)テクストの下読みとクロスレファレンスによる頻度の高い語彙の意味記述、(3)機能語や文法形式の認知言語学に基づく意味分析。本年度の研究実績としては、これらの作業が概ね目標通りに遂行されたことを指摘することが出来るが、それに加えて更なる研究を推し進めることが出来たことも顕著な成果である。それら更なる研究成果は、以下の三つにまとめることが出来る。<I>(1)によって改訂された「アイヌ語旭川方言コーパス」を基に、電算化したテクストのコンコーダンスを作成した。<II>また、本年度新たに原典批評を済ませたテクストに関して、ほぼ全編に渡って(2)の作業を施し、その成果を前年度に作成した「辞書見出し語リスト」に逐次追加していった。<III>更に、研究代表者に加えて、数名の言語学者・アイヌ語研究者・学生がこれらの資料をもとに(3)の作業を試み、その成果を論文の形にまとめた。以上の諸作業ならびに諸研究の成果は、2分冊の報告書として(<I>および<III>の研究成果を『アイヌ語旭川方言コーパスに基づく文法書編纂のための基礎研究』として、<II>の研究成果を『アイヌ語旭川方言辞典草案』として)まとめた。また、当該の旭川方言における資料の不足や欠落を補うために近似関係のサハリン方言の資料も収集し、比較・対照をとおして意味・文法記述の精度を高める努力にも着手した。これにより、今後これら方言間に基づく補完によって、より充実した『アイヌ語辞典』を志向する足がかりを得ることが出来た。
