本研究の目的は,英語話者及び日本語話者統合失調症患者における、非定型抗精神薬の認知機能改善効果について、verbal fluency task(語彙流暢性検査)を中心に検討することであった。平成15年度までの研究成果について、平成14年度の研究成果も含めて総括する。平成14年度は、非定型抗精神薬により治療を受けている日・英言語話者患者のverbal fluency機能の衰退について検討を行った。日本語話者患者は富山医科薬科大学及び福島県立大学、英語話者患者については、米国Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatryの協力を得た。そして両言語の正書法の相違により、verbal fluency機能衰退の様相も異なることを明らかにした。この研究成果は、Sumiyoshi, C., et al.. 2004. Effect of orthography on the verbal fluency performance in schizophrenia : examination using Japanese patients (Schizophr Res, in press)にまとめられている。平成15年度は主に、非定型抗精神薬により治療を受けている日本語話者患者を対象として、精神症状と長期意味記憶機能の関連について検討を行った。分析の結果、特にalogia陰性症状が、verbal fluency検査で測られる長期意味記憶機能の低下に深く関与していることが明らかになった。さらに英語話者を対象とする先行研究と本研究を比較し、両者の共通点について考察した。今年度の成果については、Sumiyoshi, C., et al.. 2004. The influence of alogia on organization of semantic memory in schizophrenia : An analysis of verbal fluency performance in Japanese subjects (Schizophr Res, submitting for publication)にまとめられた。

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of anti-psychotic and non-stereotyped antipsychotic mechanisms in patients with dysphagia in the United Kingdom and Japan, and to improve the effectiveness of anti-psychotic and anti-psychotic mechanisms in the treatment of dysphagia and verbal fluency task (epidemic diarrhea). The research results in Pingcheng in 15 and 14 in Pingcheng are included. In Pingcheng, patients with non-stereotyped anti-psychotic disorder in 14 years, those who received English-speaking disorder in Japan, and those who suffered from verbal fluency had a decline in their ability to do so. Analysis of the results, special alogia symptoms, long-term verbal fluency symptoms test means that the memory machine can reduce the depth of memory and the memory machine can understand the symptoms.
