项目摘要

平成14年度の研究成果を踏まえ、さらに京都市都心部における建物更新、道路整備等に関する補足調査を実施するとともに、岐阜市中心市街地における同様の調査(自動車交通量、歩行者交通量、公共交通サービス水準といった交通関連の変数データ、及び商業集積パターン、町並み景観パターンといった商業関連の変数の把握)を実施し、より普遍性の高い構造モデル分析を行った。これらの調査から、一定の商業集積をもった商店街において優先的、重点的に通過交通の排除と歩行者通行環境の整備、公共交通ネットワークの再編を行うことで効果的な活性化施策が展開可能であること、これらの優先的、重点的整備が隣接する商店街の再編の可能性を高め、結果的に中心市街地全体の活性化を可能にすることが明らかになった。また、これらの商店街整備において重要な商店主・住民の整備に対する理解と建物の修景整備や商業活動の活性化に対する実行力の促進において、GIS/CADシステムを用いたビジュアルかつ即地的なデータの整理・分析及びその結果のプレゼンテーションが非常に効果印であり、整備速度の促進に有効であることが分かった。今後、これらのGIS/CADシステムを用いたデータ分析をさらに経年的に積み重ね、整備効果をプレゼンテーションしていくことでさらに効果的な中心市街地の一体的再編を進めていけると考える。
