项目摘要

Wang Lipngは,駐防八旗についての志書をはじめ,八旗の知識人および彼らと具体的な交際をもった漢人の残した詩文,碑伝,新聞記事などをひろく収集した.その作業は,京都大学人文科学研究所,文学研究科,附属図書館,東洋文庫,東京大学東洋文化研究所などでおこなわれた.こうした文献資料にもとづいて,満漢間の相互作用の実態解明をおこなった。とくに杭州・武昌の駐防八旗の満州人が,居住都市のなかでいかにして共同社会を形成し土着していったかという点に着目し,文化人類学の分野から発想を得た「場所作り」place makingの概念とその分析方法を,八旗の満州人たちが地域にたいするアイデンティティと共同社会を形成する過程の分析にとりいれることを試みた。Wangは,2005年7月30日,大阪市立大学COEプログラム「都市文化創造のための人文科学的研究」の一環として開催されたシンポジウム「海外における中国都市史研究の現状」において,「アメリカにおける中国都市文化研究の現状」と題する報告をおこなった。岩井が担当する1644以前の時代については,満州語文献,漢文文献のほか,档案資料のなかから,漢人の帰順,収容(拉致などを含む)の過程およびかれらが遼東社会の変容や清朝の帝国化のなかで果たした政治的・軍事的役割などについての資料を収集し,分析を加える作業を継続した。こうした研究の一端を,2005年10月1日,京都大学文学研究科COEプログラムの一環として開催された「東アジアにおける国際秩序と交流の歴史的研究」研究会において「朝貢,会盟と互市--非「朝貢システム」論の試み--」と題して報告した。また,2005年11月12日,史学会シンポジウム「18世紀の秩序問題」の講演者として招かれ,「東アジアの十八世紀と「通商の時代」」と題して報告した。また,2006年2月4日,大阪経済法科大学が主催した国際ワークショップ「15世紀〜19世紀の東アジアにおける商人集団・商業ネットワーク・商業思想」に招かれ,「16〜18世紀の東アジアにおける国際商業と互市体制」と題して報告した。
